Functional Responsibilities
Demonstrated experience assessing, troubleshooting, and performing corrective maintenance and preventive maintenance on electrical and/or mechanical systems and/or equipment.
Notes:
This is not a telework position
This position is located at a US Navy facility
This position is part of a team that maintains the AEGIS Weapon System
You must hold a valid driver’s license
You must own a reliable motor vehicle
Minimum Education and Experience:
A two (2) year AS or AAS degree or a trade/vocational school certification in electronics, electrical or mechanical discipline may be substituted for demonstrated experience.
High School/GED diploma with a minimum of four (4) years of US Military Maintenance Technician experience.
Labor Classification:
This is a Service Contract Act (SCA) position
Depending on years of experience the Wage Determination level could be 23181 (Junior), 23182 (Mid), 23183 (Senior)
Required Skills and Certifications:
• DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance within 90 days of signing the contingent hire offer letter
• As a condition of continued employment, you must maintain an active security clearance

Proficient in MS Office Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, and Power Point
Strong attention to detail with organizational and problem solving skills
Ability to interface constructively with US Government and Industry teammates
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
